Dan Armstrong, co-owner of Conneaut Creek Float & Fly, grew up along the banks of Conneaut Creek where he cultivated his passion for hunting and fishing with his father and uncle. Exploring and guiding in the heart of Steelhead Alley for over 20 years, Dan has a great deal of knowledge and appreciation of the outdoors that he’s excited to bring to the Covered Bridge Outfitters team.
Along with guiding on his home waters, Dan has been an Alaskan fly-fishing guide for 17 years with Dave Duncan & Sons where he guides along the upper stretches of the Kanektok River and on a remote Steelhead river on Kodiak Island.
Dan passion for fishing is just as strong on his passion for hunting. While studying wildlife management and forestry in college, he became a part of an outdoor video production company, Team RIP Outdoors, LLC that was featured on the Outdoor channel and has experience guiding whitetail deer and turkey hunts in central Ohio.
