A native of Northwest Pennsylvania, Alec Linkoski, or “Link” as most know him, was born into the outdoor industry. The son of a full time taxidermist, it was only natural that Alec developed a deep love and passion for hunting and fishing, like his father.
At a young age, Alec started hunting and fishing for whitetail and turkey, as well as chasing steelhead in the famous Elk Creek steelhead fishery along Lake Erie.
After college, and working in the “real world”, Alec decided his career was in the outdoors. Guiding in Alaska as a fly fishing guide for 10 years, and 20 years of experience guiding on the shores of Lake Erie has made him into the amazing guide and outdoorsman he is today.
When not guiding, Alec can be found at Link’s Taxidermy, or with his family (Alexis, and Saylor), hanging with his buddies at Conneaut Creek Float and Fly, hunting or fishing for himself, or working with his year old mountain cur (Leo); Usually trying to tree a squirrel, or when in season a bobcat, somewhere in the Allegheny mountains.
